For the past 19 years Travis Cyr has been driving his acoustic freight train of cerebral folk and roots music all around Maine. Quiet and gently, yet vast and strong, his songs are full of vividly honest and poetic lyrics and emotionally percussive acoustic guitar. He has 9 CDs of original material, has broken over 2400 guitar strings (and counting!), and played 2000+ shows. He is also the founder of Arootsakoostik Music Festival.
