Reed Foehl and Friends (8:00 show)

Born in a small country town in New England and into a musical family, Grammy-nominated songwriter Reed Foehl writes stories of the human condition with a lyric and voice which push boundaries while paying homage to tradition. Dusty and patient, his music is genuine Folk/Americana.  Foehl released his sixth studio album – "Wild Wild Love" – in May 2022 which was recorded with The Band of Heathens in Austin, TX.

“ From traditional folk ballads to barroom sing-alongs, this tunesmith’s emotional, deeply personal lyrics and indelibly infectious choruses…leave the listener with an overriding sense of optimism” (Glide Magazine) — something we could all use a little more of these days.

He was nominated for a Grammy Award for his song “Fly” co-written with Brent Cobb which was covered by country legend Lee Ann Womack.

Foehl now resides in the Green Mountains of Vermont and continues to tour across the globe.

Jeff Berlin is a lifelong drummer whose background is primarily in Americana and Jazz music. A well-known and highly sought after veteran of the Boston music scene for both recording and performance, Jeff has lived in central Vermont for over fifteen years and continues to find inspiration in the natural environment around him. Berlin has contributed to numerous recording projects and has worked with artists such as Catie Curtis, Jeffrey Foucault (who plays at Skål Aug. 31!), Bow Thayer, Jabe Beyer, Boris McCutcheon, Meg Hutchinson, and many more. One of his most recent recordings is Further On: The Songs of Billy Conway, a tribute to the late drummer and songwriter best known for his work with Morphine. Jeff has also composed and produced two of his own instrumental jazz-rock/Avantegarde albums which can be enjoyed on Bandcamp.

Singer/songwriter Putnam Murdock appeals to his listeners with his signature combination of old-time folk, country and blues music. His songwriting presents an honest voice of Americana music. As a one-man band or a full ensemble, the intimacy remains obvious in either his contemporary sonic collages or his classic ballads. Murdock performs around the northeastern US and is expected to release a new record in early 2024 titled Long Time To Make Old Friends, that contains all songs written with long-time friend and co-writer Foehl.
