GETTING HERE:
The ferry to Vinalhaven departs from the Maine State Ferry Service in Rockland, ME. There are 6 departures daily. We will pick you up on VH and strongly encourage walking on vs. bringing a vehicle. Taking the 2:45 ferry from Rockland arrives on Vinalhaven in time for the 4:00 sound check. See Maine State Ferry Service website for ticket prices and Rockland parking info.
LODGING:
Finding accommodations on the island for one night can be challenging. We have 4 twin beds in a dormitory-style room and a separate bedroom for couples located on Main Street above SKÅL, free of charge to musicians. Please let us know if you would like to stay with us.
Other lodging options: The Tidewater, and AirBnB. If staying for several days, visit Maine Island Living.
Please note, accommodations on the island fill up very quickly in the summer.
FOOD: Sherry’s Kitchen directly next door to Skål offers items to go and dine in, Dot and Millie’s Restaurant is dine in only, The Sand Bar and Homeport Restaurants have dine in and take away options.
